ECO festival – A lecture on intelligent energy

Scientific and Research association for Art, Cultural-Educational programmes and Technology EPeKa organised a lecture on intelligent energy at the ECO festival.

We discussed terms such as:

Renewable energy sources (photovoltaic technology, sun collectors, wind energy, biomass, geothermal power plants, water energy, etc.)

Green work places (a great occupational opportunity; the possibility to study ecology in the University of Nova Gorica)

Effective energy consumption (describing the possibilities of what we are able to do ourselves and how to spend as less energy as possible)

Eco-Traffic (types of ecological transportations)

Clean energy – slogan of the European Capital of Culture Maribor 2012 and other participating cities.

The lecturer was Štefan Simončič, head of the projects at the EPeKa association.
